The story
Created in Morocco by an artisan, this sun piece was designed to bring warmth and intention to everyday spaces.
Simple and graphic, it centres a room without overpowering it. The arc draws on desert light. A grounding, familiar form that feels both calm and confident.
The making
Crafted from cotton using traditional techniques and natural henna dyes, each piece carries subtle shifts in tone and weave: visible markers of the human hand.
The textile is mounted to sit naturally on the wooden beam, honouring the material rather than flattening it into something overly polished.
The colour
A natural base layered with saffron, terracotta, and burnt clay.
It works quietly, but it holds its own.
The feel
We shot this piece in a beautiful hotel. A space layered with objects, light, and lived-in character. It’s designed to sit comfortably in environments like that: alongside books, furniture, and everyday art.
